ALLIE BRAULT is a multi-hyphenate artist based in Central Florida. Originally from New York, Brault is most well-known for her work towards increasing accessibility of Jewish songBrault has won multiple awards for her extensive work on the genre -- most notably the Professional Master’s Excellence Award from Penn State and the Mary Snouffer Dissertation Fellowship from the University of Maryland. She is the creator of The Jewish Art Song Database: The first comprehensive online database of this repertoire specifically modeled for voice teachers.
Brault strives to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for her voice studio. She integrates crossover techniques, yoga, and trauma-informed pedagogy in her studio work. Brault’s students have been accepted into numerous university music and theatre programs across the country, as well as in All-State and All-Eastern conferences.
Brault has sung operatic roles such as Blanche de la Force in DIALOGUES OF THE CARMELITES, Mabel in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, and Wesley in the world premiere of Tom Cipullo's MAYO. Her favorite concert and chamber experiences have been performing Silvestrov's Postludium DSCH for a Ukrainian benefit concert and the U.S. premiere of Sacchini's GIACCHÈ MIA SPOSA SEI. Brault's directing credits include the Maryland Opera Studio and Penn State Opera Theatre.
Brault made her Off-Broadway debut in David Harrower's BLACKBIRD in 2021. Brault has starred in multiple short films and appeared in commercials for Google and the American Association of Orthodontists. She often collaborates with educational companies for voiceover work.
Brault is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Voice at the University of Florida. Additionally, Brault is a doctoral candidate in Voice Pedagogy at the University of Maryland under the tutelage of Dr. Teri Bickham. Brault received her Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Penn State and her Bachelor of Music degree from The Crane School of Music.
